Better Plate Accelerator

Application for the 2024 Better Plate Accelerator program cohort is now open!

MAF is thrilled to announce the opening of registrations for the third cohort of the Better Plate Accelerator program in 2024, building on two years of successful collaboration with MassChallenge Israel.

This year, we are exploring partnership possibilities with other organizations equally renowned for their ability to guide startups toward success. We will share detailed information about this partner at a later date. If you are running accelerators, please feel free to reach out to explore a potential partnership.

The registration form is now available for Israeli startups specializing in alternative proteins and will remain open until the end of 2023

Please note that the form is in Hebrew only.
We encourage you to share this opportunity with anyone interested in joining our program.
Research shows that significantly fewer women entrepreneurs apply to accelerator programs compared to their male counterparts. We highly encourage women to apply, and the Better Plate team is fully prepared to accommodate your specific requirements and support your journey.

Together, we will continue to lead the charge in food innovation, working toward a better future and a better plate.

Our Story

In early 2022, The Modern Agriculture Foundation launched Better Plate, the Middle East's first alternative protein accelerator track. This unique program operates in partnership with MassChallenge Israel's Core Accelerator, and benefits from a distinguished team of entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders.

Better Plate aims to accelerate Israeli and international early-stage startups that are developing sustainable food innovations such as plant-based proteins, fermented foods, or cultivated meat. The goal of the program is to disrupt the traditional animal protein sector and promote a better, healthier world.
